Does Abelissimo provide Gift Vouchers?

A:

Abelissimo does not yet provide gift-vouchers. We do offer complementary gift-wrapping on items over $200 and will ship direct to the recipient.

Do you send out catalogues?

A:

 No, our catalogue is only online. However you can subscribe to our free email newsletter for news on our latest products and promotions.

What are my purchasing options?

A:

 Abelissimo offers 3 purchasing options:

  • secure internet purchase with your credit card (we do not keep nor see any of your card details and our merchant faciity with the Commonwealth Bank is secure) or
  • mail order payment by cheque, money order or bank cheque - Just select Mail Order as the payment method at checkout and fill in your details. We will process your order as soon as we receive your  payment!  
  • Call our Ballina retail shop on 1-300-799336 and we will take your order and credit card details by phone.

What is Abelissimo’s address?

Does Abelissimo service large orders?

A:

Some of our regular clients are restaurants and caterers who require bulk orders of special items, or corporations wishing to reward their employees. Where product is available we will ensure large orders to satisfy any requirements.

Why should I become an Abelissimo member?

A:

Membership is free, gives you easy access to your order history and speeds up the purchasing process. Members receive a quarterly email newsletter about new products or special offers. Members can unsubscribe (cancel their membership) at any time.

Does Abelissimo keep credit card details?

A:

 Your credit card details are never seen by Abelissimo. Your card number is encrypted and sent to the payment gateway which returns us an authority to charge your credit card. This procedure can take a few moments. This is also why we will need to contact you again to process a refund on your card, since we do not keep the details.

We collect and store membership information to ease the process of ordering. Keeping your information on record means you do not have to re-enter this information next time you shop, or if you are tracking an order. If a non-member makes a purchase their details (not credit card number) are only recorded on the individual order.  See more on Security.

How do I subscribe or unsubscribe from the email newsletter?

A:

All registered members will receive selected email communications from Abelissimo automatically. Our intention is to provide our members with information about new products, cooking tips and other information that would be of value to home cooks and people who appreciate beautiful useful things in their homes.

Those who do not wish to receive this email communciation will have the opportunity to simply "unsubscribe" by clicking on the identified link in the email.

Will I get an order confirmation?

A:

Yes. Every order you submit will receive an email order confirmation in the form of a tax invoice/receipt. Please be sure to enter your email address correctly. We recommend that you keep a printout of this confirmation for your records. You will also receive a shipping email once your order has been dispatched.

What forms of payment are accepted for online purchases?

A:

Abelissimo accepts Visa, Mastercard and Bankcard through its secure online credit facility. Alternatively, you can select Mail Order at the checkout. This will be sent to us as a Mail Order awaiting payment. You can send payment as a cheque or money order to Abelissimo, 107 River St, Ballina, NSW 2478, Australia.

Q:

What is Abelissimo’s returns policy?

A:

Abelissimo replaces any goods that are faulty or damaged. We will refund delivery costs under the following conditions:

  • Abelissimo receives email notification of the problem within 48 hours of the package being signed for. (We will respond with email or telephone instructions as to how to return the goods)
  • The package is returned within 30 days of purchase in its received packaging and condition. (This way we can track the source of the problem)
  • Abelissimo receives:  the goods; a copy of the packing slip and receipt; the reason for the return and your name and daytime phone number. (We may need to contact you if we are unable to replace or exchange the goods)
  • Goods should be sent to: PO Box 234 Brunswick Heads, NSW 2483.

Delivery and handling charges on returns due to incorrect choice are not refundable. Credit Card purchases will be refunded on the same credit card, cheque purchases will be sent a cheque.

Can I cancel my order?

A:

If you cancel your order before it has been shipped, we will credit your account fully, less a $5 administration fee. Simply email us with the request and we will let you know if the order has been shipped. Unfortunately no refund can be made after the product has shipped although we may be able to exchange goods if you contact us with a specific request.  Please ensure all details and messages are accurate at the time of placing your order.
